オムロンヘルスケア（京都府向日市）とワコールが女性の姿勢改善を目指す「女姿力（じょしりょく）向上プロジェクト」を立ち上げた。姿 勢の良しあしによって見た目の美しさが変わるためで、このほど活動第１弾として、きれいな姿勢の大切さを紹介するセミナーを東京で開催した。
女性の美容・健康に対する関心は高いが、自分の姿勢を意識する人は少ないという。この現状を踏まえ両社は「美や健康の原点である歩き方」を調査、発信するプロジェクトを立ち上げることにした。
推進に向け、両社はこれまでの自社製品を通じて蓄えてきた情報を活用し合う。例えば、ワコールは歩きやすさを追求した靴とストッキングなどで培った内容を提供。オムロンヘルスケアは、装着すると歩く癖が分かる歩行姿勢計などのノウハウを役立てる。
この日のセミナーは「就職活動と姿勢」をテーマに開かれ、就活に励む都内の女子大学生３人が参加。両社の面接官を対象にしたアンケートで、９７％が「見た 目が影響」すると回答、このうち５６％が「座り姿勢」、４３％が「入室時の姿勢」が重要と答えたことを紹介し、面接官に好印象を与える姿勢を提案。歩き方 の美しい女性ほど長時間の面接でも姿勢を維持できるとの実験結果も示された。招待したウオーキングインストラクターの谷英子さんは「日本人の歩き方は重心 が低い。腰から歩くように」と助言した。
両社は今後も学識者らの協力を受け、姿勢改善の取り組みや調査を進める。次回のセミナーは夏に行う予定。
