天気が悪くなると リュウマチが悪化する。
と 云われてきた。
医者は 患者の言葉を信じていなかった。
気圧が低くなると
リュウマチ症状悪化に 統計的な優位性が認められる。
おんなじように、
天気が急変し 雨になり 寒くなったりすると、
病気の患者さんで亡くなられる方が多い！

気圧が低いほど関節リウマチ患者のはれや痛みが増えることを、京都大のグループが確かめた。
天気が悪いとリウマチも悪くなると昔から言われているが、通説の湿気より気圧の方が明確な関連があった。米科学誌プロスワンで１６日発表する。
京大ゲノム医学センターの寺尾知可史特定助教らは、通院患者約２１００人の受診データと京都市の気象データの関係を調べた。
すると、気圧が低いほどはれや痛みのある関節の数が増え、患者の自覚症状も悪かった。特に３日前の気圧がもっとも関係していた。
湿度も関係するが、気圧ほどはっきりした統計学的関連がなかった。気温は無関係だった。
血液のデータとは関係しないので、病気の進行には影響しないと考えられる。「梅雨時は間接が痛む」「痛みがひどくなると天気が悪くなる」など天候との関係は以前から知られていたが、患者個人のそういった実感を統計学的に実証したのは初めてという。
グループの京大病院リウマチセンターの橋本求特定助教は「医師が信じてない場合もあったが、疫学的に関連が示されたので、患者の感覚への理解と共感が進むのではないか」と話している。（鍛治信太郎）
