日本に仏教がもたらされたのは ５３８年ごろ。
桓武天皇(781年～)が 最澄と空海によって 最新の仏教を輸入し 密教をもたらせた。
ご褒美に 比叡山延暦寺と高野山金剛峰寺を それぞれに頂いた。
両者ともに 宗教学者であり 両山は宗教大学です。
ここまでは “鎮護国家”仏教でしょう。
日本に 宗教本来の“衆生救済”が 見受けられるのは、鎌倉時代の法然と親鸞が最初で最後でしょう。
この度の 東京電力福島第一原子力発電所人災などで 仏教団体が 第一線で衆生救済を行ったというニュースは 見受けません。
本殿で祈祷を行ったとか、銀行からの借入で義捐を行ったと聞き及びます。
仏教がそもそも“衆生救済”を持ったものかは 分かりませんが・・・。
神仏習合は奈良時代中期に始まったとされ、
もともとは インドにおけるヒンズー教と仏教の対立回避に始まるようです。
仏教は “ヒンズーの神を融合させ、日本でいう神社の境内に 仏教を緩やかに持ち込んでいった。”
平安時代になり これを宗教的に理論化していったのが “本地垂迹”になります。
式内社(平安時代中期編纂・三大格式で律令の施行細則)が存在します。
これは 国が保護し・褒美を与える神社です。
神仏習合とは 藤原不比等による 神社を傘下に納めることを目的になされた 仏教を利用した「政策」です。
式内社以外は 藤原氏勢力を“好しとしない地域勢力”になります。
この神仏習合という状態が 日本という国が 2,000年の歴史であるなら、
1,200年程続いたことになります。
日本の宗教の現実は 神仏習合という “同じ敷地内に 神と仏が共存する状態が・・・・・、” 歴史の ６割がたを占めていた。
極めて 人類史的にも 不可思議なもんです。
現在的に、 日本人の無宗教性は ５０％を超えるとされている。
このことを 招き、現在も 一つの宗教が大勢を占めない状況は、、、
このような 歴史的なもんに 由来してるんではないのか？？？
これさへも 全国津々浦々とは 言い切れません。
この国が きちんと国として統一されたのは 明治になってからですから・・・。
基本的に “神宮・大社”の称号を持つもんは、政治的に作り出されたもの。。

日本は統計的にみて約9600万人が仏教徒であり[1]、全世界で3億数千万人程度が仏教徒とされていることを考慮しても、やはり一大仏教国である。約75000の寺院、30万体以上あるといわれる仏像は、他の仏教国と比べても桁違いに多い。世界最古の木造寺院法隆寺があり、最古の仏典古文書も日本にある。
現在の日本の仏教徒の大半はいわゆる鎌倉仏教に属している[2]。浄土宗系（浄土真宗）の宗派と日蓮宗系の宗派が特に大きな割合を占めており、大乗仏教が特に多いのである。

橋本知事は 関西電力から年間電力需用＆供給能力データーを手に入れ、
現時点で稼働してる発電所の供給力で 通常は問題ないとのこと。
問題になるのは 真夏時にエアコン稼働率が高まった時に 供給がひっ迫するとのこと。
この時に行政は 緊急時として節電を呼びかければ好し！ とする。
いま日本は 東京電力福島第一原子力発電所人災によって、原子力発電そのものものを 原点に立ち返って見直そうとしている時。
現実的には 原子力発電と火力発電も メリット&デメリットを それぞれに検証するべきです。
太陽光発電などに見受けられる自然再生エネルギーは ピーク電力需要時の“緩和システム”として 現在は考えるべきでしょう。。
とにかく 東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の問題にきちんとした目安が立たない時点で、 電力供給がひっ迫するからと言って、 原発を再稼働させてゆくことは 如何なもんか？
